Self Saucing Chocolate Fudge Pudding

1 cup self-raising flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons cocoa
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 3/4 cups boiling water

Sift flour, salt and cocoa into an oven proof dish. Add sugar.

Stir in milk, butter and vanilla.

To make the sauce mix all the ingredients in a seperate jug.

Pour the sauce gently over the pudding mix.

Bake at 180°C for about 60 minutes.

Serve with cream, ice cream or custard.

Note: For best results, pour the sauce mixture slowly over the back of a spoon rather than directly onto the pudding mixture.
